Who's Chris Brown?

I've never heard of Chris Brown until now... and I couldn't make out the face with any clarity from that video, so I'm not convinced that he's actually the person whose likeness is featured in that video. This reminds me of the Rare staff members' photos which made it into GoldenEye 007... or something. I wonder why the YouTuber didn't mention what cheat he/she used to activate the 'walking photo' cheat.

Anyhow, what I actually care about here is that great music!! I haven't seen every area of DK64; does that music play elsewhere in the game, or only via this cheat? If it's an unused track, that's insane... I never liked DK64's soundtrack much at all, but this music is interesting and perfectly moody.

Edit: Music was added in afterwards. It is not DK64 music.

Yeah, Chris Brown's just this hip hop guy. He sucks badly.

I just read through the comments, and apparently the music in that video was added in... Presumably the code disabled the in-game music, and 'wwwarea' decided to add his/her own music to make the video more compelling. How stupid's that... the only part that was actually intriguing turns out to have been spliced in.

There has been no mention of "Chris Brown" appearing in the credits. It's simply someone's (or a few peoples') perception of the image they see.

Yes, I retracted said comment because I didn't know what you were talking about, but then I got the video to work for about 30 seconds(took a half hour to get that far), and once I realized what was really going on in the video I though that it made me sound very foolish, so I edited my post hoping no one had seen yet.

Why the heck did they stick some random photo in there? Weird. Is it some way to congratulate hackers or something? XD

Was the photo simply from a texture hack, or was it an actual texture in the game?

It was gameshark enabled. Somebody with a gameshark or a N64 emulator should check the code (which by the way, is in the original video comments), if it really is in-game, or wasjust a texture hack, as Kowz says.

I might check up on this later today, if I crack open DK64 to help with CM's K. Rool project/collection...

some of you haven't even heard of Chris Brown? I hear his music everywhere (unfortunately) and he was in the news recently for beating his girlfriend.
