Bottom line: I have no idea why she's even in this game. Wrinkly appears for a few seconds in the opening cutscene, and then you never see her again. She must've had a larger role, right?

I seem to remember a screenshot showing Wrinkly floating on a ledge and DK and Diddy were across the cliff from her... Can anyone help me out here?

In a stage? That would've been cool. I'm just glad they had her in at all

My friend who knows nothing about video games played it and when he saw her he was like "It's a ghost!!". I LOL'd.

Ha, she also has a ghost umbrella. I didn't know umbrellas had spirits.
