I think just about everybody is a little bit ambidextrous. Very few people are 100% ambidextrous (like you can write the same with both hands, and use utensils with both hands equally and such).
I use my right hand for racquet sports. Occasionally I'll switch to my left, though. For some reason, I usually eat spaghetti with my right hand. It has something to do with twirling it on the fork... for some reason, it's easier with my right O.o I also crochet with my right hand. The person teaching me was right handed, and she couldn't figure out that what I was doing was the exact opposite of what she was doing... yeah that stuff gets annoying... so I just switched hands. I still do the work with my left hand, I just hold the hook in my right hand.
I also love to switch hands sometimes just for fun. I'm terrible at bowling, so I like to screw around with my buddies and switch hands to see if I do any better. oh, and my "terrible," I mean I rarely break 100.
