Hay hay, I`m SmudgeKWOOD. Well, actually my son is, but parental guidence is needed, he`s only 11. Anyway, we run a cool company called Channel -0, which we are making a movie about Diddy & Dixie Kong! (Cool computer animation!) We`re trying to find video game making software so we can go nuts.
I personally like DKC2 the best. Find my son in many threads, and on Youtube.™ (http://www.youtube.com/user/SmudgeKWOOD) Also visit http://www.thechannel-0blog.blogspot.com and be a follower. This forum is great, so expect him to be here all the time.

I play a lot DKC2 and DKC3 and sometimes DKC1
I also like the DKL ones, especially DKL1
I'm currently working on DKC2 and DKC3 speedruns/time attacks. So far I have only two on my youtube channel, but I'll be uploading more

Whoa, I didn't expect something like this to pop up in my internet life. For years, I've been searching high and low for the very rare Beta version of DKC1 (A.K.A. the version as it originally appeared in the 1994 promotional video). While searching for clues to the Beta ROM on YouTube, evidence of a level editor came up, which eventually lead me here to the DKC Atlas. I'm looking at some of the threads here, and already, I'm hooked to the website as a monkey to a yellowy ripe banana.

Thanks to the arrival of a DKC editor, I can now present some ideas I've had ever since DKC came into my life 15 years ago. As a child, I used to design level concepts based on the first installment, while mixing baddies, Kremlings, bosses and other crazy inventions from the three SNES titles. I even wanted to feature a new enemy to the game: Hunters, human poachers who plot to turn Donkey Kong Country into an amusement farce.

One of these days, I'll have to dig through my old papers to find those levels. Or maybe, I'll just have to start all over again.

I'm EliasYFGM, but everybody knows me as Yoshi-Fan GM or Elías (I'm also a huge fan of DK and obiously DKC/DKL series

Well, I play a lot DKC and DKL. I'm currently working with a hack of DKC1, using an Hex-Editor for changing objects and some stuff, and I'm going to use "dkEdit" only to change the level appearance.

Hey everyone! My name's JadeRoseofChaos (what a mouthfull!).

I found this sight whilst browsing for some DKC screenshots on google. I'm not really sure how I found this site, but I'm happy I did!

Donkey Kong Country was my first video game. Some of my first and fondest memories are playing this game with my daddy (actually, he would play, I would watch.). We never beat the original DKC trilogy though... Mostly due to my data always mysteriously getting erased for some stupid reason (i would always get 50 percent of the way through, then POOF! All my data's gone!)

When the Donkey Kong 64 came out, the first game we got was DK64. We played it day and night. My daddy finally got 162 of the golden bannas... but then we just kind of stopped playing. He became more interested in Medal of Honor, and I was just a little kid, and was too scared of the baddies to play myself. However, at age 7, I vowed to beat the game for dad someday

So, I just occupied my time with other video games (and picking up on the original trilogy where we left off).There were many gaps between playtimes, but I finally beat the game last year, getting 101 percent. The last bannana I received was at the DK Arcade machine in Frantic Factory. Oh, how I hated losing at that game... but it was sooooooo worth it. ^_^

Later I beat Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, and got Donkey Konga from my birthday.

Now I'm on the fast track to beating the original trilogy after so many years. Wish me luck guys!

Sí, eso dije =P Hablo español pero el foro es inglés así que es algo rudo hablar en español (solo en ciertos casos como éste (aunque también lo hago jugando XD)).
Yes, I said that =P I speak Spanish but the forum is English so it is kind of rude to be talking in Spanish (only in certain cases like this one (although I also do it when messing around XD)).
