I don't know, but I think there could be a hidden debugging feature like that. Maybe you should ask Racoon Sam or Blaziken257 (Matrizzle does SNES hacking).

It's easy to do with the overworld map, for this very reason.

You did that? Thanks man! I've been looking for those maps for a long time and my save states for that game are gone. I'll give credit if ever I get around to using them

OK, since Blaziken is better at this....

Are you (Blaziken) able to 'find' some kind of Action Replay (or other) cheat code to always have a Gyrocopter, even in submaps (or especially in submaps)?
