I was searching around the internet one day and found a game called Somari. It was released only on the NES. This is what Wikipedia has to say about it:
"Somari is a pirated hack of Sega's flagship video game Sonic the Hedgehog, produced for the Nintendo Family Computer and sold primarily around Hong Kong in 1994. The game features a character named "Somari" - a Nintendo mascot Mario wearing Miles "Tails" Prower's shoes. The character's name is a portmanteau of "Sonic" and "Mario". I didn't even know a game like this could even exist . And for those of you who want to know who made it, I can't help you, because according to Wikipedia:
"It is unknown precisely how, when, or where the game was created."
Here's the title screen and an in game screenshot of the game below:
I've watched YouTube videos about this game and it's pretty bad. The soundtrack is an awful attempt to recreate the original Sonic soundtrack. The controls are also bad.
The wierd things you find while browsing the internet .
