OK, the rules of this game is for you to post five DKC/DKL-related weird things about yourself. I'll start;

1. I know more about the Game Boy Advance version of the Donkey Kong Country trilogy as I got all three of them six years before I got the SNES games.
2. The same goes for Donkey Kong Country for the Game Boy Color (I'm one of the world's biggest experts if you can consider that).
3. I wanted DKC/2/3 for my birthday in 2002 or 2003 (can't remember), but I never got them because I always focused on Game Boy Advance games and my parents wouldn't let me get too much for my birthday. Until I finally had space for in in May 2009 (the three games).
4. I know more about the Donkey Kong Land games than the Donkey Kong Country games (got these games around late 2001, all three and the Japanese Dinky and Dixie).
5. I know more music in Donkey Kong Country 3 (Game Boy Advance) than the original (despite how much it;s talked about).

(Fun Fact: I got Conker's Pocket Tales (my very first video game) in May 15, 2001 and Donkey Kong Country (Game Boy Color) on September 27, 2002 (with my money). In like November/December 2002, I got all three Donkey Kong Land games, including the Japanese DKL III.

1. I find Minkys in DKL3 hard to see, then using the default GBC palette.
2. I've never heard the DKC2 music "The Flying Krock", or the Stronghold Showdown cutscene, until I saw it on Youtube. (my dad got to K.Rool Duel, then stopped playing, so that's where I started in DKC2 )
3. I DON'T think DKL is hard to play because of the graphics.
4. I had to wait 1 month after I bought DKL3 to get it. I finally got it by buying it a second time!
5. I have the AUS PAL version of DKL, even though I live in Canada!

SECRET 6th FACT!: I got DKC GBC with the box, booklet, and even the Nintendo Power flyer, for only $9.99! (It was all in mint condition, except the box!)

Sure, but I might be confusing DKC GBC, with my copy of SMA (which came with EVERYTHING, in mint condition, for $9.99!)

Oh, too much to name, honestly! ...I'll keep it with these six for the time being. I hope I don't come off as bragging or something. xD

1. I devote most of my time, art, and writing to anything DKC.
2. It took me more or less ten years to fully beat DK64.
3. I love anything and everything DK! Arcade, Country, TV show, Returns, etc
4. I role play as K. Rool quite frequently.
5. I thought up a whole theory that Kremlings are actually mammals that just look like reptiles.
6. I sometimes search for DKC or my favourite characters in Japanese.

1. DKL2 is my FAVOURITE DKL game
2. I still haven't beat DK64
3. I have all RARE made Donkey Kong Games (besides the GBA ports and DKRDS)
4. I have a promotional DK plush that I didn't know was promotional until I learnt it on THE INTERNETS
5. The only DK game I have completed fully is DKC. (But I'm still working on DKC2 and DKLIII!)

1. I've actually beaten Animal Antics 2 times!
2. I've actually gotten through the test (?) level in DKC3.
3. I have the Player's Choice versions of DKC and DKC2
4. I won a staring contest with the motionless DK clone in the DK64 test room
5. In DK64, I was able to get to the switch that releases Chunky Kong in Frantic Factory with Diddy Kong

[Katastrophe Kong]

1. I first played Donkey Kong Country on an emulator and I thought that's how one would normally play Super Nintendo games.

2. I always wanted to build a pirate ship in my backyard so I could play Kremling Pirates with my friends (when I was little).

3. I used to work on a children's book adaption of the Donkey Kong Country series using renders and screenshots (I wanted to present it in class by the end of 1st grade but I never finished).

4. I thought Swanky Kong was a brainwashed Donkey Kong when I first saw him.

5. I used to think Kiddy Kong was a mechanic who worked at Funky's Rentals (his footy-pajamas looked like coveralls).

1. The only DK games I have are made by Rare, except DKCR

2. I found out that Rare is credited in Mario Kart 64

3. The only strategy guide to any DK game that I have is the Prima Games guide to DK64

4. I once tried to look for the DKC Cartoon on DVD. Several times

5. The first DK game I ever played was DKC3

The only Donkey Kong games I've ever beaten completely not once, but twice are Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber and Donkey Kong Country 3 on the GBA.

Yep. At school when there's no lessons for whatever reason, that's how. C'mon, I need SOME way to pass the time!
