It's already out in Japan and I can't wait until it comes to North America! Despite the disappointing roster, I think this will be an amazing game. It's the first game I've ever pre-ordered.
22 more days!!
by the way, are there spoiler tags on this board?

Yay! A Brawl thread! It doesn't look like there are spoiler tags here, so I can't talk about anything.
Bummer.

I SOOO wanna play this game. But sadly, Nintendo hates Europe as always so we are getting it like 6 months later than the rest of the world (Except Australia).
PAL SUCK ASS!!!!

Discussion topic: How do you like the new remixes of Bramble Blast (Stickerbush Symphony) and Gangplank Galleon in brawl?
Personally, I think that they pulled off Gangplank Galleon quite well, as it still retains the feel of the original song. However, I really don't like what they've done with Stickerbush Symphony... I just feel that it's a piece which can only be done with certain instruments and a certain feel, and they didn't do it right. :/

Once you listen to Stickerbrush Symphony a few times, it really grows on you. It may not be as good as the original, but it's not bad. And Gangplank Galleon is awesome, awesome awesome awesome.

They did a great job with Gangplank Galleon. Bramble Blast, however is a bit... iffy. But I guess they had to liven it up a bit to match Brawl's mood.

The music you linked to was interesting, G41... I think the drums sound great on the Gangplang Galleon remix, and the metal guitar is fine, but the rest of the instrumentation sounds pretty cheap and synthy. The Brambles music sounds good to me, I look forward to hearing it in the game. The guitar improv, and the strings section catch my ears, and I like the fact that it's a fair bit different from the original. I do like the original quite a bit, but it's lovely to hear a new take on the composition.

No, unfortunately I don't think so. I'll have to look into developing some. In the meantime, perhaps you could just set the text (Font colour) to 'white' and manually type 'Spoiler' above, so that people know what's going on.
Example:
Spoiler! (select text to read)The forum member here called 'Monkeygirl' is actually Qyzbud's girlfriend... Omigosh!!As for Brawl's release, I'm saddened by the lateness of the PAL version, too. Does it really take that many months to stick a 'u' in a handful of words?
Oh, and
cfh, why is the roster disappointing? I'm not fully up-to-speed on Brawl character line-up discussions. I just love that Diddy made it in, and that they did a kickass job of it.

They don't even do that, it's rather sad.
I don't understand why Xbox and PS3 titles are released in PAL areas only a few weeks late, yet Nintendo titles are released months after the NTSC release.

Oh yeah, it's easy to manually make spoiler tags. You just make you font white, but wait a minute! The background is light blue! It doesn't blend correctly!

I actually like the Bramble Blast remix a lot, and find Gangplank Galleon to be dissapointing. Like a worse version of Thrash the Plank.
And the roster is dissappoint because there are so many clones, added in place of desserving characters. Even Toon Link, who could've had a completely original moveset, is a clone.

Because Dixie was originally in and they took her out...

The fact that Donkey Kong only gets two characters while franchises such as Kirby and Star Fox get three boggles my mind.
Spoiler (highlight to read.)
Seriously, Wolf? I would have much prefered Krystal.
And I love R.O.B. He kicks butt.

Okay guys, there is now a spoiler tag for your secret posting pleasure!
But seriously, having Falcon in SSB was neat because it proved that the characters could be from a really wide scope. I would never have expected him to be in such a game, and although he's a good and fairly unique character, I personally don't see much validity in roping in more F-Zero characters.
Samus is great, though. Who from the Metroid games could join Samus? I haven't played them all - surely there's a hero/villain that could make a good SSB fighter. Maybe a space pirate... or even a metroid? Heck, if Kirby/Jigglypuff can hold their own in battle, surely a metroid could do some damage.

I think Ridely would have been good, I don't think he'd be to big. Maybe even another Hunter could have been playable.

Yes, it is. Dixie was found in the game's programming, indicating that she was dropped in the early stages of the game. That, or...

In amongst Roy, Dr Mario, Mewtwo, Toon Zelda and Toon Tetra (I'm pretty sure that was it) was Dixie Kong... :/
Yeah... I would have loved Diddy/Dixie team ups, but I guess I'll have to use Donkey now instead...

Some of the characters that were supposedly going to be in (Dixie, Toon Zelda/Sheik etc) seem awfully cloney to me... of course, that's just my pessimistic side, and after seeing what they did with Wolf I'm sure that it wouldn't be too bad =P

I would largely prefer K. Rool over Dixie. Don't flame me! This game needs more bad guys.

You will surely not be flamed for that. K. Rool is awesome, and I was sure he was gonna be in, especially after Kirby got his villain. Why did Kirby and Starfox get three characters, while DK only get's two? Not cool.

Funny that... I thought they would have given into hype like they did with their Halo 3 review. 9.8? For a game which offers practically the same the last two did, with a few more multiplayer options? Come on, now...

Yeah, and the reason they gave Brawl a lower score was because it's a sequel with the same style gameplay! Whatever, I know it's going to be an awesome game.

Well I stopped in to a reputable local games dealer (EB Games), and was told something mighty unpleasant. Apparently, us Aussies won't be seeing Brawl (and its in-game porno action) until around
September! I sincerely hope that guy was misinformed, of just a Sony/Microsoft fan messing with me... but damn. If that's true I'm mightily unhappy.

Yeah, that EB guy was just speculating. Plus if they actually had a date before Nintendo had announced it themselves, it would have been a placeholder date.
But even so, September sounds about right...

But even the fact that it's still just speculating at this point... I don't get it, why cause this much pain for fans? WHY??

Ugh... apparently the K. Rool trophy in brawl tells of the Kaptain being King K.Rool's brother.

To be honest, that makes absolutely no sense. I thought all 3 games in the Trilogy had the same K. Rool...
If King K. Rool escaped to Crocodile Isle, what would he do there? I don't see why his so-called "brother" would suddenly want to kidnap DK... Maybe King K. Rool is the little brother and he called in the Kaptain on DK?

This is old news.
That's not even the English version, just a fan-translated Japanese description. Apparently the original Japanese game manual had a translation mistake and said Kaptain was K. Rool's brother. I'm sure they changed the trophy description for the English game.
