Sorry for my bad english, and sorry if this topic is stupid.
I just can't get 102% and I don't know why.
I did everything, beat the lost world, got the 40 DK coins, but the game still say 101%. What else is left to do?
I'm using the 1.1 version (european) in the bsnes emulator.

You get 1% if you talk to all the DK members. So visit Funky, Wrinkly and Swanky for it to be settled!

Now I will try to improve my time, 5 hours is terrible, I used to do around 3:30.

Well, I mean, it was 5 hours for your first 102%;

That's not bad at all.

And now that you've done it once, improving your time should be no problem at all.

Back in the day(2002-2003), I used to do 102% in 3:40, and 105% in dkc3 in 3:10.
The problem is that i can't miss anything, I have to get every single banana, even when I have 40+ lifes. But now I'm going to rush it and see if I can get the time under 3:30.

My first (and unique) 102%... I took 8:35h to did it.

I've had the same problem. I think my cartridge is messed up, every time I beat the game (the entire way) I get one less percentage point each time. I have no idea why this happens, and I've tried to look it up and I've found nothing about it.

File Select Screen -- Keep pressing down until you get to Music Test, then down another 5 times to get to cheat codes:
B, A, Right, Right, A, Left, A, X to get Hard Mode?

If that's not it, then, basically, complete ALL levels, find ALL Kremkoins, find ALL DK coins, and defeat ALL bosses. I'm pretty sure that visiting the Kongs has no effect. The only effect I can think of is that maybe you get DK coins from Swanky for completing the quizzes?
