Hi, I am a brazilian kid, please excuse my english. When I was a child, I finish DKC and I saw the secret world entrance. This happen just one time. I cannot remember how I did this! The "entrance" is the first icon on world map (before Kongo Jungle). What I have to do? I really want to enter this world.

If I remember correctly, the first secret world was in DKC2. Are you sure you were playing the first one and not the second?

And you were playing on a working SNES with a working cart and no cheat devices?

Exactly! No cheats, SNES, normal cart.

Then I have no idea what you're talking about. The only think bfore Kongo Jungle is DK's treehouse, but you only get to that in the beginning of Jungle Hijinx.

Yeah, DKC has no lost world. I think you were confusing DK's tree house dot for one.

In the Game Boy Color game you go backwards from Kongo Jungle for some of the bonus mini-games only in that version, could you be thinking of those?

This is from the GBC port, under "Bonus" → "Crosshair Cranky". It is a series of shooting games, similar to the ones in DK64.

I remember one guy on GameFAQS said that in Super Mario World he was playing on the first stage and he went into a pipe that led him to a starry backround and there was this huge boss with many heads. He tried to jump on it, but Mario died and only responded as a head. He said he never saw it again.

I didn't have an account yet, but I was just thinking, "You were probably dreaming". Finally someone posted, "It was a dream".

So that's what I'm thinking happened with you, maybe you just had a dream that happened so long ago you now think it was part of real life?

Yeah, I've always wondered why there's a DK head on his treehouse on the world map... Because his treehouse is in Kongo Jungle, right? And there's already a head on Kongo Jungle. Wtf.

im preety sure i did something where i was able to go to dk treehouse icon somehow i did it i only played it on snes with a cartridge or im confusing it with another game but i know ive gotten to the dk house icone before

Doesn't matter if you got there or not, as there aren't any secret levels the game could actually send you to.

There's some unused stuff, but nothing real special.

On SNES you start out there but cannot go back to it. The area in the GBC port has already been mentioned.

by the way, are there any PAR codes that let you get to DK's house on the world map? I heard in one of the Japanesse versions, they don't have DK's house as a map space.

Here's how to get to DK's Treehouse.

Go to Jungle Hijinx.
Enter Dk's Treehouse.

YAY!

The developers probably added that little "move" from the Treehouse to the Jungle for cinematic purposes, to make it look like you got a head start on your adventure.

It's pretty obvious there is no secret world in DKC1 because of the only walk through walls, bonuses, off screen encounters, and other mid-game varieties. There was a confusion with the port of the game because of the island extension and I vote this thread be locked away in the depths of oops.
